—Walter H. Judd

“Democracy is the only system that persists in asking the powers that be whether they are the powers that ought to be.”
—Sydney J. Harris

There is a great website with information about local candidates
http://www.vote84045.com/

Get educated

http://www.votesmart.org/

This is a website that will let you know who all of your representatives are.  You can also find biographical information, voting records, issue positions, interest group ratings, public statements, and campaign finances, and contact information.

All you do is type in your address and you will be able to find out all of the information pertinent to your area.

Utah State Government also runs a wonderful website complete with a sample ballot for the issues you will need to vote on during the election.
